CPR
Saved Kaitlin's Life Kaitlin Forbes was an athletic 15-year-old who went into sudden cardiac
arrest while playing softball in gym class. Kaitlin's teacher and school nurse rushed to her side, performed CPR,
and used an automated external defibrillator (AED). Today Kaitlin is a healthy and happy 18-year-old with her whole life ahead
of her!
Kaitlin's story could have had a different ending but fortunately
Kaitlin was in a school setting with staff trained in CPR. Click here to take action now:
Please let your legislators know that CPR training can and will save lives, just like it did for Kaitlin.
Sudden cardiac arrest claims the lives of 325,000 Americans
each year. Many of these lives could be saved if bystanders act promptly to phone 9-1-1 and begin CPR, and use an automated
external defibrillator (AED) within minutes. Our schools are an ideal place to teach CPR.
In addition,
with kits such as the CPR anytime kit, students can be taught this life saving skill in less than an hour and for the price
of a textbook. Click here to take action now: Please act now to let your legislators know how important it is to pass legislation that ensure all
high students receive CPR training.
It may save the life of someone you love!
Sincerely,
